The team, position & mission:

Public Cloud Delivery Norway oversees the local public cloud portfolio, drives, and grow the Public Cloud contracts and facilitate effective resource management for successful, high-quality deliveries that drive excellent customer satisfaction. Our primary goal is to acquire new clients ('logos') while maintain and grow in the Norwegian Public Cloud portfolio.

The unit oversees and manages local deliveries in three technology areas: AWS, Azure and GCP. For this position, we are looking for someone with experience in, and who wants to work with Azure. Positioned as a rapidly developing core focus within our organization, we stand as a trailblazer in the European public cloud domain. Our innovative strides have propelled us to the forefront of our industry, driving the company's success and fostering a culture of continuous growth and advancement.

This area is characterized by substantial expansion and marked as strategic importance with teams of specialized engineers and architects. We take pride in our ability to excel in delivering consultancy capabilities, cloud engagements and our offering of service subscriptions. Our dynamic work environment extends beyond borders, with projects reaching various countries across Europe, solidifying our international footprint and setting the stage for further future expansion.

As we continue to embark on this growth journey, we are actively seeking talents across a spectrum of experience levels, ranging from juniors to senior public cloud engineers/architects. As a Cloud Engineer, here is some of the technology areas you will work with:

• Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Bicep, along with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Node, and Powershell.
• CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket.
• Opportunities to dive deep into practices like SRE, Cloud Adoption Frameworks, and the Well Architected Framework.
• Collaboration within Platform Engineering teams, gaining expertise in domains like Microservices, Kubernetes, Networking, and other Cloud Services.
• Integration into customer teams to provide development, automation, and operational capabilities.
• Cloud Native Observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Combining Cloud Architecture and engineering best practices to develop scalable and reusable solutions.

As an ideal candidate you have:

• A relevant degree or equivalent experience with industry certifications.
• Experience within Azure.
• Proficiency in designing and working with CI/CD pipelines, automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, DevOps, DevSecOps, and cloud-based delivery models.
• Skills in Terraform/Bicep/ARM/Pulumi, Ansible, Powershell, Python, JavaScript, and Node.
• An aptitude for working well with others and fostering cooperation.
• Curiosity about learning new technology.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

It is not a requirement, but other preferred qualifications would be:

• Experience building relationships and delivering technical presentations to customers, supporting sales activities, and acting as a customer technical advisor.
• Familiarity with Microservices and Kubernetes.
• Professional proficiency in Norwegian is a plus.

• Consultancy Capabilities
• This area is centered around deliveries where we provide our competency & capabilities in the earlier stages of the customer journeys to advise or assist customers towards deeper cloud engagements. Examples here (Temporary assignments, Well Architected Reviews, Assessments, Proof of Concepting, Solution Design & Business Casing ++). If you love working with generation of opportunities, working close to our customers business and want to challenge your customer communication & analytical skills, this is the right area for you.
• Cloud Engagements
• This area is centered around building and providing temporary or permanent delivery teams managed by Orange or together with the customers. Teams responsibility, function & purposes may vary, but is designed for handling a combination of development & operational work. These teams will work closely with our customers, often over longer periods of time. If you love working in a team & collaboration, this is the right area for you.
• Service Subscriptions
• This area is centered around building & providing smart scalable solutions & services that has generic elements & scaling possibilities across multiple customers. Here we seek mindsets centered around working in teams, innovation, standardization & automation across multiple customers.
