Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Developer to join our team in Horten or Trondheim, Norway. In this role, you will design, implement, deliver, and maintain software applications and services, focusing on embedded medical ultrasound systems, cloud solutions, desktop applications, and integration with Hospital IT systems and other third-party systems. Together with our team, youll be working within the full software lifecycle of the products, all within the domain of medical ultrasound imaging and healthcare-related software and embedded products.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and evolve software in a fast-paced, agile development environment using the latest technologies and infrastructure.

• Provide technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7 developers.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to understand product requirements and vision.

• Work cross-functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables.

• Ensure world-class quality in the development and support of products.

• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies such as Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, Refactoring, and Testing Techniques.

• Proactively share information across the team, ensuring the right audience receives the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science.

• Proficiency in programming with C#.NET and/or C++.

• Experience with SQL Databases and Client/Server architecture.

• Fluent in English.

Desired Characteristics / Technical Expertise

• Experience in Windows-based programming.

• Familiarity with the DICOM standard.

• Experience with software projects in the healthcare domain.

• Development of cloud solutions.

• Certified Scrum Master and/or Product Owner is a plus.
