About the role:

Seeking a talented full stack developer with expertise in Java/JavaScript/Typescript to join our web application team.

Requirements:

• Must be highly skilled at:
  • Java
  • HTML, CSS, web technologies
  • JavaScript and Typescript
  • React
• Must be proficient in SQL.
• Ideally some experience with (or interest in):
  • Machine learning
  • Linux
  • Python
  • Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to predict and mitigate risks in software development.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proactive, with the ability to independently identify areas of improvement.
• Ability to solve complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our customer-facing web applications:
  • Java/Spring Framework back-end development.
  • React/TypeScript front-end development.
  • Collaborate on features with other tech teams, such as internal/external API integrations, machine learning and product deployment.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges during the development process.
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas of improvement, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Contribute to the overall development, testing, and shipping of our platform.
