Join our team as Lead Cloud Backend Developer in Oslo Norway, where you will collaborate with our cloud team on Pixotope's cutting-edge licensing and software distribution platform, Pixotope Cloud, hosted on Amazon Web Services. Your work will involve integrating Pixotope Cloud with existing solutions such as HubSpot and Zendesk, ensuring a unified "Source of Truth" for our operations. You'll also need a deeper understanding of the functionalities of these solutions, liaising with solution partners to leverage available APIs and functionalities.
What you can expect as Lead Cloud Backend Developer at Pixotope:
Take charge of integrating Pixotope's Cloud platform with Zendesk and HubSpot.
Develop, design, and uphold services within a distributed cloud-based infrastructure.
Collaborate with the cloud team various Pixotope Cloud assignments, potentially encompassing Pixotope Graphics and Tracking.
Engage in both backend and frontend tasks, Javascript/Typescript, Java or Rust as needed.
To succeed in this role, we think that you have:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, related fields, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of development experience.
3+ years of experience working with AWS cloud technology (for example ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, EKS, CloudFormation).
Proficiency in modern programming languages and technologies.
Strong Git or version control skills.
Ability to debug, problem-solve, and test code.
Fluent communication in English.
API development and Docker/containerization expertise.
Hands-on experience with scalable, distributed cloud systems.
It is also an advantage if you have:
Experience with Swift.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation (Terraform).
Knowledge of distributed system monitoring tools (ELK, CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).
Experience integrating business systems.
