With operations in 35+ countries and over 200 partners in Europe, Asia and North America, the small family-owned company has grown into a global producer and retailer of premium beds.Position Overview:As a Business Developer , you will lead and ensure the profit and growth over a specific area or region. You will be responsible for Hästens existing sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities. You will be responsible for the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.As a Business Developer your main focus will be to maintain and develop existing partners and their business together with them. In your role you will identify partner’s needs, building a short/medium/long-term business action plan in accordance with targets.As a Business Developer you will assist and implement marketing strategies and delegate tasks to achieve strategic goals of the company.As a Business Developer you make sales happen and make sure you will be a Hästens representative in all possible ways and meet our world-class standard.Duties & Responsibilities:1. Ensure sales and growthFollow up and develop the business action plans together with the partners.Monitor and evaluate traffic, conversion rate and average ticket value actions.Meet regularly with partners management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy ; sales processes, structure, and best practices across Hästens and partners.Generate new leads ; identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities2. Represent the Hästens brandEstablish and maintain good and strong relationships with partners and their stores .Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations .Make sure that the stores act with the customers in mind and provide them with world-class service, follow guidelines and store design.Keep control and understand everything that’s going on in the store and provide guidance and information to improve all conditions. Make sure to keep strong teams and provide the sales representatives with guidance and expertise of retailing.Communicate new products, service opportunities, special developments, deal structure and pricing with business value analysis.3. Identify new partners and hospitalityResponsibly for identifying bottlenecks in the sales process and act on it.Plan for growth and execute PR events in the region.Build and plan marketing activities in the region.Share and maintain professional knowledge through education, networking, event and presentations.Drive PR and Marketing in respective countries with help from sales support and in-house departments.4. Practice “Way of Working”Follow guidelines, use tools and ensure a structured way of working when it comes to sales, visual merchandising, store concept . Respect and keep deadlines and follow up on results.Keep a clear agenda when visiting partners with such as instore trainings, information, promotions etcDevelopment of the business of Hästens partners by closely following up their business action plans.Act as true professional by representing the Hästens blue-check values; awake, enlightened, empowered, committed, open, business minded, accountable, serving, respectful and loving.ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business management or equal.Proven successful track record in B2B sales and negotiations.Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, budgeting and proven ability to plan and manage resources.3 + years’ experience working with sales techniques.Market knowledge and great presentation skills.Other requirementsPosition is based in local market but will require great amount of travel , both within Norway and occasionally to Sweden.Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.Being professional and meet sales goals with a high level of energy.Strong motivation for making sales, adaptive and flexible to new “ways of working” .Planning, prospecting and closing skills in terms of sales.Act according to Hästens Blue-check values .Commitment:Hästens Beds is committed to providing an equal employment opportunity.Location: NorwayCompensation & Benefits:Base + Commission EligibleWe offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program
