Software Engineer

Work location: Bergen

Your mission as a Software Engineer in DNB:
You will join a team of skilled, engaged, and dedicated engineers who are working to build personalized customer experiences. Together we build and maintain responsive web pages, design and implement APIs and work with integrations. Your main area will be on the serverside. You will interact closely with IT Architects, Product Owners, UX designers and other Developers.

We are looking for Software Engineers who are passionate about programming and enjoy working in a team. Whether you are experienced or fresh out of study – you will join a strong DevOps team with great opportunities for personal growth.

These are some of the skills we are looking for:

As a minimum - experience in

• Java
• Either Spring or Micronaut framework
• Programming against relational databases

In addition – experience with some of these technologies is an advantage:

• Container technology such as Docker, Kubernetes
• AWS
• Azure
• Test-driven development and agile processes together with test frameworks as jUnit
• Git, Jenkins, Maven / Gradle

• Experience using infrastructure as code (IaC) - AWS Cloud Formation / AWS CDK / Terraform or similar is an add on
• Ability to participate in all levels from software design to implementation and to DevOps operations
• Experience with Agile software development methods and DevOps
• You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
